A review of the movie got four and a half stars in the Sydney Morning Herald last weekend!

Story : George Valentin (Dujardin) is a successful silent movie star when the arrival of sound and talking pictures threatens his career. At the same time, Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo), a young extra, thrives in talkies and becomes a major movie star.

Bastille Day

Every year, around the 14th of July, come and celebrate Bastille Day with us! Last year, we had a French lunch at Tillermans restaurant in Tea Gardens. Bobby was playing some French songs in a friendly atmosphere. The menu was at $45 : Soupe, salade niçoise, main, dessert, wine included. Hum !
