Delivery Instructions
All enrollments will be confirmed by an email receipt within 1 hour.

Refunds & Returns Policy
Note that fees cannot be refunded or transferred in the case of cancellation by the student less than 2 working days before the course
starts, except under special circumstances whereby justification is provided (e.g. presentation of medical certificate).
No partial refund or credit can be granted for classes not attended and no postponement can be allowed except under special circumstances
whereby justification is provided and approval from the AF de Newcastle committee is granted.
In such circumstances, it will be on a case-by-case basis.
In the case of illness, whereby a medical certificate is provided, reimbursements for classes not taken may be made.
Adult classes / Conditions of enrollment
- No enrollment is confirmed unless 100% of the course fee is paid.
- Payments have to be made before the beginning of the term, as per instructions on the website.
- A student who has not paid cannot be accepted in class.
- Please do not pay teachers directly.
- Fees will not be refunded unless cancellation occurs before the beginning of the course.
- A minimum of 6 students is required to start a class.
- Classes falling on public holidays will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
- Cancellation of class due to teacher’s illness: class will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
La Petite Ecole / Conditions of enrollment
- No enrollment is confirmed unless 100% of the course fee is paid. Please note that fees cannot be refunded in the case of cancellation less than two days before the course starts. The Alliance Française de Newcastle cannot beheld responsible for changes in the parents’ or child’s commitments or personal circumstances.
- Classes will not be held on NSW public holidays. These classes will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
- If a class is cancelled due to the teacher's illness, it will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
- If a child misses a class, he/she can come to another class during the same term.
- Parents should collect their child on time. A $10 surcharge will apply for every 10 Min of child minding after completion of the class.
Students with disabilities
Every student, regardless of ability and need for additional support, is entitled to an education and full access to our classes.
Students with disabilities and special needs are supported through a range of support measures in our French classes.
Parents or caregivers have a vital role to play in the work of the Learning and Support Team through discussing, planning and managing measures for their child's needs.
Where medical/hygiene measures beyond the training or expertise of our teachers are necessary, parents will become integral to the management of the student, ensuring best possible access to the educational program.

- Fees will not be refunded unless cancellation occurs before the beginning of the course.
- Classes falling on public holidays will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
- Cancellation of class due to teacher’s illness: class will be rescheduled at a suitable time in the session.
- Failure to notify AFN of a lesson cancellation prior to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time will result in the full fee being charged for the lesson which means that the class will not be rescheduled.
In case we do not reach the minimum number of students required
- The course may be cancelled and refunded
- The course format may change depending on the number of students enrolled.
